• Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu |1,350m Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, we pick you up and transfer you to your hotel by a private car. (Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.)
• Day 02: Kathmandu: Trek preparation In the morning, we will meet for a pre-trip meeting to introduce you to the basics of the trekking briefly. We will provide lists of gears and equipments for the trekking. We will take care of all the legal documents and permits required for the trek along with the formal briefing at the Ministry of Tourism. These formalities are required to prevent any legal issues that can be raised before or after the expedition. (Overnight at the hotel).
• Day 03: Fly to Lukla |2860m| 40 minutes flight; Trek to Phakding |2,610m| 3 - 4 Hours trek On our flight to Lukla, we relish the scenic view of snow-capped mountain peaks throughout the flight. Upon landing, we will begin our first-day trek to Phakding walking along the banks of Dudh Koshi River. We will continue to trek downhill where we will pass through Cheplung village that offers a stunning view of Mt. Khumbila (5761m). (Overnight in Phakding).
• Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar |3,440m| 5 - 6 Hours We will continue to trek alongside Dudh Koshi River, and after crossing the river, we will pass Chumoa and Monjo villages. Then we will enter the Sagarmatha National Park and ascend through the steep trail to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar offers great views of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8526m), and Thamserku (6623m). (Overnight in Namche Bazaar).
• Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and exploring the places nearby the town. We will take a short hike to Hotel Everest View (3962m) from there we can witness a marvelous view of Everest (8848m). We will also explore the monastery in Khumjung village that displays a Yeti skull in its premises and will hike up to Khunde twin historical village and visit Hillary school there. Then we will retrace our steps to Namche Bazaar and visit the Sherpa Museum which helps us to learn and understand the Sherpa culture and tradition. (Overnight in Namche Bazaar).
• Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche |3,860m| 5- 6 Hours Next day we will continue our trek to Tengboche village alongside Dudh Koshi River. We will pass through the village of Kyangjuma and cross a bridge over the river to reach Phunke Tenga. Enjoying the amazing view of the Himalayas like Lhotse (8526m), Island Peak (6186m), and Ama Dablam (6812m), we will continue to trek until we reach Tengboche. The village is located at the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Imja Rivers. In the evening, we will visit Tengboche Monastery. This monastery is an important religious center in Khumbu which is hugely followed by the local Sherpas to be a symbol of their history and origin. (Overnight in Tengboche).
• Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche |4,410m| 5 - 6 Hours We will trek through a densely forested path full of colorful rhododendron, juniper, oak and pine trees, and cross a suspension bridge to reach Pangboche. Here we will explore the Pangboche Monastery which is a religious hub and features the multitude of Buddhist artifacts and rituals deemed to provide protection to people after conducting a ceremony. We will continue to trek through rocky ridges to reach the village of Somare. From there, we will walk alongside Imja Khola which will lead us to Dingboche, where we will be greeted by the welcoming faces of the Sherpas. We will rest in a lodge and call it a day.
• Day 08: Acclimatization day at Dingboche We will take a day off from trekking and spend the day in Dingboche to adapt to the climate. There will be an option of hike to Chhukhung Ri (5500m), walking on a rocky terrain via Imja Khola valley. Upon reaching, we will get an amazing view of mountains like Lhotse’s massive south wall (8414m), Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), Island Peak (6186m), and other mountain peaks. Then we will hike back to Dingboche for the overnight stay.
• Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche |4,910 m| 4-5 Hours The trek will be followed with an ascent towards Lobuche through rocky ridges. We will pass Mani walls, Chortens, and prayer flags on our way to Thukla. We will continue to ascend on the steep lateral moraines of Khumbu Glacier to finally reach Lobuche. (Overnight in Lobuche.
• Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep |5,140 m| 3-4 hrs to Kala Patthar |5,550 m| 2-3 hours We will begin our trek towards Gorakshep through the alpine forest. We will take a hike to Kala Patthar viewpoint where the first rays of the rising sun kiss the tip of Mt. Everest (8848m) to reveal the majesty of the massif. The sunset over the peaks of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Khumbutse (6665m), Nuptse (7861m), Lingtren (6749m), Pumori (7161m), and several other snow-clad peaks will give you a whiff of freshness and magnificence of the Himalayas. Afterward, we will return to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.
• Day 11: Trek from Gorakshep to Everst Base Camp |5,364m| 3-4 hours to Pheriche |4,288m| 7-8 hrs We will be enrouting to Everest Base Camp from Gorakshep. We will trek along the icy surface of Khumbu Glacier to reach Everest Base Camp. We will be rewarded with the grandeur of the Himalayas, and we can joyously trace the memory of the ravishing Mount Everest (8848m) in our hearts and minds. After spending some time appreciating the brilliance of nature, we steeply descend to the village of Pheriche passing Lobuche and Thukla along the way. (Overnight in Pheriche).
• Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche |3,870m| 5-6 Hours Relishing the beautiful views of the mountains in the background, we will pass through the village of Pangboche followed by Imja Khola valley. We will continue to trek alongside Imja Khola for few hours to reach the village of Tengboche. (Overnight in Tengboche).
• Day 13: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar |3 440m| 5-6 Hours We will retrace our trail back to Namche Bazaar descending through the lush forest of pine and juniper. We will cross a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and continues to trek passing several small Sherpa villages on our way to Namche Bazaar. (Overnight in Namche Bazaar).
• Day 14: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla |2,840m| 6-7 Hours For our last day trek, we will head towards Lukla, trekking alongside Dudh Koshi River. The trail descends steeply and we will pass through several villages, chortens, and gompas as we make our way to Lukla. This day, being the penultimate day of our Everest trek, we will fondly reminisce about the journey we undertook and prepare to bid farewell to the beautiful Khumbu region. (Overnight in Lukla).
• Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu and free day and farewell dinner We will take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu relishing the scenic view of the Himalayas throughout the flight. We will transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu and you will have the rest of the day to relax and do any kind of shopping for gifts and souvenirs or explore around the city. Later in the evening, a farewell dinner will be held to celebrate the completion of the trek. (Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu).
• Day 16: Final departure We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport before your scheduled flight back to your home country.
