Trip Introduction

If you seek bone-chilling adventure and radiant natural beauty at the same time, you might want to know about the Lobuche Peak and all its glory. Lobuche Peak Climbing incorporates a trial which is sure to provide you with the closeness to nature you can only dream of and the thrill of sheer adventure. The journey to the summit takes you through the Everest region which is rich in terms of majestic peaks, diverse flora and fauna, the etiquette of the Sherpas and the potency of their culture.

The 19-day Lobuche Peak Climbing is a strenuous summit to the eastern peak of Lobuche (6119m) in the Everest region. Although having a modest height, the summit to Lobuche is quite challenging and offers trekkers an enchanting panoramic view of numerous high mountains in eastern Nepal. The journey to Lobuche Peak Climbing begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The trip continues with a flight to Lukla with picturesque scenic views of the high snow-clad Himalayas accompanying you throughout the flight. Ascending and descending through various landscapes from lush forest of rhododendrons, oaks, pines, and juniper to steep rocky terrain and glacier moraine, you make your way to Lobuche Peak East (6119m). The trek features a side trip to Everest Base Camp and later to Kala Patthar viewpoint to witness the ecstatic sunrise over the ravishing mountains. The main highlight of the trek is the grandeur of the mighty mountains like Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8526m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), and many other surrounding mountains of Khumbu region. The trail then leads towards Lobuche Case Camp. One should have good climbing skills and tolerance capacity for scaling the peak along the steep, vertical and snowy trail. The ascent to the peak is technically difficult but equally worth it once you successfully complete the climb. The top of the peak offers splendid views of the mountains and gives you a real heaven on earth feel. After the successful climb, you head back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
