• Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu |1,300m Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up and transfers you to your respective hotel. (Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu).
• Day 02: Trek Preparation We will take care of all the legal documents and permits required for the trek along with the formal briefing at the Ministry of Tourism. These formalities are required to prevent any legal issues that can be raised before or after the expedition. You can also do some shopping in the streets of Thamel. We will spend the final day in Kathmandu before our departure. (Overnight at the hotel)
• Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding |2,652m |40 min flight |3-4 Hrs We will fly to Lukla from Kathmandu enjoying the panoramic view of the snow-clad Himalayas. Upon reaching, we will meet with our crew members and begin our trek to the picturesque village of Phakding. The trail to Phakding is a gradual downhill through farmlands and Sherpa villages with an amazing view of Kusum Kanguru (6367m) in the background. We will rest at a local lodge for the night.
• Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar |3,440m|5 – 6 Hrs Today we will head towards Namche Bazaar walking along the bank of Dudh Koshi River. We will cross a few suspension bridges to reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park before continuing to ascend through beautiful pine and cedar forest leading to the town of Namche Bazaar, the Gateway to Everest and also the main trading center of this region. We will be staying in Namche Bazaar for the night.
• Day 05: Namche Bazaar |3,440 m| Acclimatization We will take a day off from trekking and spend the day in Namche for acclimatization. This is necessary to adapt ourselves to the thinning air. We can take a short hike up to Hotel Everest View to enjoy an up-close panoramic view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Ama Dablam (6812m), and many other peaks. On our way back, we will visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery in Namche. (Overnight at lodge).
• Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche |3,870m| 5 – 6 Hrs Leaving Namche Bazaar behind, we will head towards Tengboche. We will trek alongside Dudh Koshi River through a forest of conifer and rhododendron with the view of Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam (6812m), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7861m), and Thamserku (6623m) in the background. We will descend through a forested path and cross Imja River and continue through an uphill forested path to finally reach Tengboche. We will visit Tengboche Monastery and take blessings from the Rimpoche. This monastery is said to provide protection to people via a ritual performance. (Overnight in Tengboche).
• Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche |4,360 m|5 – 6 Hrs We will be descending to Debuche through the forested path full of birch, rhododendron, pine and oak trees to cross a bridge over Imja Khola. Then we will gently ascend to the Sherpa village of Pangboche where we will visit Pangboche Monastery. We will enter the Imja valley and gradually ascend to Dingboche with a great view of Ama Dablam (6856m) at close range. (Overnight in Dingboche).
• Day 08: Dingboche: Acclimatization Day We will take another day off trekking to acclimatize. We can take a hike to Chhukhung Ri (5550m) via Imja Khola valley, walking through stone-walled fields and rocky terrain. Chhukhung Ri offers an eye-catching view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7861m), Ama Dablam (6812m), Island Peak (6189m), and many other peaks. After spending some time in Chhukhung, we will hike back to Dingboche for the overnight stay.
• Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche |4940 m|5 – 6 Hrs We will gradually ascend to Dughla passing the Trekkers Aid Post in Pheriche. We will walk uphill on a steep trail to Chupki Lhara stumbling across Chortens, prayers flags, and Mani walls. With the stunning views of Lobuche (6119m), Pumori (7165m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Khumbutse (6665m), we will continue to ascend on the steep lateral moraines of Khumbu Glacier until we reach Lobuche. (Overnight at lodge).
• Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp |5364m| and back to Gorakshep |5170 m||6 – 7 Hrs Leaving Lobuche behind, we will head towards Gorakshep where we will walk through alpine forest followed by moraine and icy path all the way to the top, which can be challenging. We will also come across the small Gorakshep Lake on our way. From Gorakshep, we will head towards Everest Base Camp passing through rocky dunes, moraines, and small streams. Upon reaching the base camp, we can get an extraordinary view of Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), and Khumbutse (6636m), and Pumori (7161m) along with the Khumbu Icefall. We will return to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.
• Day 11: Gorakshep to Kala Patthar |5545m| and back to Lobuche |4940m|7 – 8 Hrs We will wake up early in the morning and hike up to Kala Patthar viewpoint to witness the beautiful sunrise view over the high Himalayas. The first rays of the sun not just rejuvenate you but you also you will get the up-close panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Khumbutse (6665m), Nuptse (7861m), Lingtren (6749m), Pumori (7165m), and many other snow-clad peaks. We head back to Gorakshep and rejoin our same trail back to Lobuche. (Overnight in Lobuche).
• Day 12: Lobuche to Lobuche Base Camp |4,950m| 1 – 2 Hrs Today we will head to Lobuche Base Camp walking on the steep and rocky trail along the Lobuche Glacier. Enjoying the great views of Ama Dablam (6856m), Cholatse (6335m), Taboche (6367m), and others, we will make our way to Lobuche Base Camp. Our experienced guide will provide you with training and information regarding the peak climbing techniques so that our climb on the next day can be successful without any setbacks. (Overnight at base camp).
• Day 13: Lobuche Base Camp to High Camp |5,400m|3 – 4 Hrs Leaving Lobuche Base Camp, we will head towards High Camp, gently ascending on rocky moraine path. After reaching High Camp, we will make final preparations for the climb and check all the equipment gears. We will spend the rest of the day relishing the amazing view of the surrounding Himalayas and exploring the areas nearby the High Camp. (Overnight at tented camp).
• Day 14: Lobuche High Camp to Summit |6119m| and back to High Camp |8 – 10 Hrs We will begin our climb to Lobuche Peak (East) early in the morning. The climb to the summit is steep, which can be challenging and technical. We must be careful to follow the instructions of our leader. We will walk on rock surface up to around 5700m followed by a climb on ice. We will use both fixed rope and man rope as instructed by the leader. Upon reaching the top of the peak, we get a euphoric feeling that makes the strenuous climb totally worth every bit. The view that unfolds in front of your eyes is unreal with the world’s highest mountains like Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Nuptse (7861m), Pumori (7165m), and many more. After taking pictures and spending some time at the top, we will head back to high camp for the overnight stay.
• Day 15: Lobuche High Camp to Pangboche |3930m|8 – 9 Hrs We will head to Pangboche descending from Lobuche High camp and rejoin the trail to the Everest Base Camp. We will pass Pheriche and continue to trek towards Pangboche through the forested path full of rhododendron and juniper trees. (Overnight in Pangboche).
• Day 16: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar |3440m|4 – 5 Hrs We will retrace our steps descending along the Imja Khola followed by the village of Tengboche. We will continue to trek through the forested path and cross the bridge over Dudh Koshi River. The trail then descends through a pine forest that leads us to Sanasa. We will also pass through Chortens and stupas along the way, before the beautiful Namche welcomes us again. (Overnight in Namche Bazaar).
• Day 17: Namche Bazaar to Lukla|6 – 7Hrs For the last day of our trek, we will head to Lukla descending steeply on the rocky terrain. We will cross a suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River and pass by Phakding village and several other villages before making an uphill climb to Lukla. (Overnight in Lukla).
• Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu|45 mins We will catch our 45-minute domestic flight back to Kathmandu. We will transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu and give you a free day to shop around the markets of Kathmandu to buy souvenirs to take back home to friends and family. You can also spend the day roaming around the cultural hubs of the capital. (Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu).
• Day 19: Final Departure Our representative will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight.
